Buying Appointments

Do you have amazing vintage that needs a new home? Do need some extra cash before the weekend or have your eye on something at the shop and want some store credit? Come sell to us! 

If you’re curious what we’re taking, our Instagram feed (@charmschoolvintage) and our online store are great places to get a feel for our style. Here are some guidelines to give you a better idea of how our process works:

 + For the items we take, we'll set the in store selling price and you can choose the option of either 50% of that selling price in CSV trade to use in-store or online, or 30% in a Venmo or Pay Pal payment. Any remaining items must be picked up by the end of the day. 

+ We take clothing, accessories, shoes, belts, bags and hats

+ Items must be 20 years older or more to be considered vintage, so please refrain from bringing anything more recent than the late 90's. We do not take wedding dresses, prom dresses, or business attire.

+ Items must be in season. A good rule of thumb is if you’d wear it now, we’ll buy it now. We’re always looking for breathable, natural fabrics like cotton, silk, and linen, as well as rayon, lace, crochet, suede, leather, metallics, and love fringe and embroidery, so please be selective when bringing synthetic fabrics. 

 + Items must be in great condition, ready to go onto the racks immediately and free of odors, stains, holes, missing buttons, etc. Please check everything carefully and launder or repair your items before you bring them in to sell. If you bring something amazing that requires minor repair, we reserve the right to factor the price of the repair into the final selling price.
