Navajo Squash Blossom Necklace
The Naja has its origin with the Moors in Spain. It's considered a good luck charm to ward off the evil eye. It was often used on the browband of Moorish Horses and is thought to be handed down from the Spanish Moors to Mexico and then to the Navajo Indians. This Navajo squash blossom necklace is made of very old sterling silver that hangs 13" long with a hook and loop closure in the back. Rough hewn blue turquoise stones throughout with a 3"x3" horseshoe pendant.
Excellent vintage condition.
